NLSC Learn to Swim/Stroke School Instructors - Northern Lights Swim Club is looking for experienced swimming instructors. Positions are part-time offering 6 hours/week. Late afternoon/early evening time slots starting at $12 per hour. Must be able to work well with children ages 3 and up. Resumes and references a must.
Stingray Swim Team - is actively searching for an age group swim coach to work with children ages 5‐ 13. The work schedule is 10.5 hours per week Monday ? Friday of practice and occasional meets on the weekend. Some additional hours of administration may also be required. The individual will work along side one other coach, and be in close contact with the senior coach.
Requirements: USA Swimming Certified Coach, Alaska Swimming registration, CPR certification, excels in time management, working with children and parents, comprehensive knowledge of swimming technique and training, self‐driven, dependable, excellent communication skills, organized.
Proffered: At least 4 years of swimming and/or coaching experience, prior experience working with children, knowledge about physiology and child development, experience with computer software such as Team Manager and Meet Manager.
Pay: Will depend on experience. Candidates can expect approximately $20 per hour. Meets are $50 flat rate per session.

Glacier Swim Club - GSC will be adding a near full time position of Head Assistant Coach to its program this fall. The Goal is to improve operations, communications, and instruction of its swimmers.
Job Description: The job is a 9-month position, August 20, 2012 – May 4, 2013. The position may be extended to an annual position in the future. The job will require 35 hours per week.
North Pole Aquatic Club (Assistant Coach Position) - NPAC is looking for an experienced swim instructor/coach to help with two of our youngest developmental training groups. This is a part-time position 3-5 hours/week. Must be comfortable working with swimmers ages 5 and up.

Assistant Coaching Position
Wasilla, Alaska
Wasilla Waves Swim Club located in Wasilla, Alaska is seeking an Assistant Swimming Coach. The Club is currently looking for a dynamic individual with competitive swimming and coaching experience. Positive people skills are a must. Current CPR, 1st aid and lifeguard certification required.
The Assistant Coach will work with the team of 35-40 swimmers from 5 to 18 years of age and will work directly under a Head Coaching Position. The clubs daily practice is at a 25 (meter) Borough-owned pool, attached to Wasilla High School. This is a Monday thru Friday position and is paid on an hourly basis. The assistant coaches positions hours during the school year generally fall between 3:00 PM - 5:30 PM and 7:00 AM - 9:00 AM during the summer months.
The successful applicant must be willing to travel to various out-of-town swim meets throughout the year and help host local meets. These meets often take place over the weekend.
