NLSC Girls Break Pair of Records

Victoria Adams, Marlana Tuccillo, Jesi Cavanaugh, and Mary Uselmann combined to break a pair of Alaska Swimming 13-14 girls relay records this past weekend in Homer.  The NLSC quartet set new marks in the 200 Medley and 200 Free relays for their age group.

On Saturday, in a time trial, the girls swam the 200 Medley Relay.  Their time of 1:52.63 broke the previous record of 1:52.70 also made up of NLSC swimmers.  The old record was held by Dana Bye, Meredith Uldrich, Meghan Cavanaugh, and Spencer Broste and was set in April of 2004.

On Sunday the Tuccillo, Adams, Cavanaugh, and Uselmann swam the 200 Free Relay.   Their time of 1:41.27 bettered the 2005 record of 1:41.60 held by NLSC swimmers Genny Konicke, Hannah Iverson, Dana Bye, and Meghan Cavanaugh.
